Danny's Landscaping: a website redesign for a Meath landscaper

How Jahvix rebuilt dannyslandscaping.ie for a landscaper in County Meath: a quote-first page with WhatsApp quotes, a 3D garden that follows the Irish seasons, local SEO, and Lighthouse 100 on mobile and desktop.

The brief

Danny's Landscaping builds and looks after gardens in County Meath: patios, pergolas, walls, planting, lawns and maintenance. The old site was static and dated, and did little to bring in work. The brief was a modern one-page site that would show up when people in Meath and nearby towns search for a landscaper, turn visitors into quote requests, and be ready for AI search.

What I built

  • Quote first

A quote card sits at the top of the page. Pick a job type and town, add a note, and WhatsApp opens with the message written, ready for photos of the garden. Call and WhatsApp buttons stay within reach on phones.

  • A living garden

A 3D meadow behind the headline follows Irish time: day, dusk and night, with spring, summer, autumn and winter planting. Flowers bloom where the pointer moves, and a robin hops in the lawn.

  • Fast on every phone

The 3D scene loads only after the page is ready, and never on weak devices, data saver or reduced motion. Those visitors get a painted sky and lawn instead.

  • Real work and real reviews

A before-and-after slider of a real job, Facebook recommendations quoted as written, a garden calendar, and a storm banner that can be switched on after bad weather.

Search and AI search

  • Titles and copy aimed at "landscaper Meath", patios and pergolas, with every town in the area named on the page
  • schema.org data for a local home-and-garden business, with each service and every town it covers, plus FAQ data
  • An llms.txt file and AI crawlers allowed, so ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can describe the business accurately
  • Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up, with the sitemap submitted

Results

  • 100Performance
  • 100Accessibility
  • 100Best practices
  • 100SEO
  • 1.4 sMobile LCP
