Website development
Websites that load fast, get found and look like you.
I design and build websites and landing pages for businesses, trades and products. They score 100 on Google Lighthouse, they are set up for Google and for AI assistants like ChatGPT, and they are live in about 2 weeks.
What you get
Designed for phones first
Most visitors arrive on a phone, so the layout, buttons and contact options are built for a thumb, then scaled up for laptops.
Fast: Lighthouse 100
Light pages, optimised images and no heavy page builder. Fast sites keep visitors and rank better.
SEO built in
Page titles, descriptions, headings, schema.org data and a sitemap, plus Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools set up for you.
Found by AI search
AI crawlers allowed, Bing kept up to date with IndexNow, clear answers and an llms.txt file, so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot can read your site and describe you accurately.
Enquiries that arrive
Call, WhatsApp, email or a quote form that sends you the details you need, without spam.
Domain and hosting sorted
I connect your domain, set up hosting on Vercel or Cloudflare, and hand you the logins.
A good fit for
- Local businesses and trades who want more calls and quote requests
- Apps and products that need a landing page
- Old, slow or hard-to-edit sites that need a rebuild without losing their Google rankings
- Studios, makers and consultants who want a site with some personality
How it works
- 1
Tell me the idea
Send an email with what you want to build and who it is for. A paragraph is plenty.
- 2
A short call
We talk it through, and I tell you honestly what I would build first and what can wait.
- 3
A fixed proposal
You get a clear scope, timeline and price before any work starts.
- 4
Built in about 2 weeks
You see progress as it happens, and nothing goes live until you are happy with it.

Questions people ask
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages and what they need to do. After a short call you get a fixed price, so there are no open-ended hourly bills.
How long does a website take?
About 2 weeks from the go-ahead to a live site, once I have your text and photos. Bigger sites get a timeline in the proposal.
Will my website show up on Google and in ChatGPT?
Every site is built for it: fast pages, clean headings, structured data, a sitemap, an llms.txt file, and Search Console and Bing set up. Nobody can promise a ranking, but nothing on the site will hold it back.
Can you redesign my existing website without losing my rankings?
Yes. I keep your content and set up redirects from the old addresses, so Google carries your rankings over to the new pages.
Do I need WordPress?
No. I build fast static sites with Astro that have nothing to patch or hack. Text and photos live in one simple file, and I can make changes for you.
Where is the site hosted?
On Vercel or Cloudflare, close to your visitors. For most small business sites hosting costs little or nothing. The accounts are in your name.
